Vianney, France: “As a non-smoker, I don’t think smoking should be banished”

I’m a non-smoker but I do not consider that smoking should be banished or too heavily taxed.
Everyone with two cents of reason understands that smoking can heavily damage your health, and dying from a lung cancer is one of the most painful death one can know.
But any adult should be able to decide what he wants to do with his lungs.
However, I’m in favor of a strict prohibition when it comes to selling tobacco to minors and I believe parents have to be proactive in prevention efforts – it’s their duty.
If you trust an adult enough to give him the right to vote, you should let him decide freely if he wants to smoke.
